Introduction

Romana is a recipe app for Apple devices. This policy covers the app and this website.

What Romana stores

Recipes you add or import and your app settings are stored on your device. I don't receive your recipe content. If you turn on iCloud sync, Apple stores a copy in your private iCloud account.

• Recipes: Titles, ingredients, instructions, images, and tags you add or import.
• Preferences: Settings such as default servings, measurement units, and other in-app options.
• iCloud: When sync is on, the data above is stored in your iCloud account.

Apple's StoreKit checks whether Romana Unlock is active. Apple manages the entitlement and handles payments. I don't receive your payment details or run servers to store recipe content or verify purchases.

I don't use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

I don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising.

How Romana uses your data

Romana uses your recipes and settings to provide its features. If you turn on iCloud sync, the app syncs that information through Apple's iCloud. I don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Recipes are saved in the app's local database, and preferences are saved in system storage on your device. When iCloud sync is on, CloudKit keeps a copy in your private iCloud database. I don't run servers that store your recipe content. Apple stores and transmits iCloud data under its iCloud terms and your account settings.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases and handles payment details. Romana doesn't receive your card numbers, billing information, or recipe content. Purchases and restores follow Apple's StoreKit behavior on your device.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can turn off iCloud sync in the app's settings, clear local app data from Romana, or delete the app from your device. Apple's policies and your account settings apply to data in iCloud.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, receive a copy, or object to certain uses. These rights may apply in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another region with specific privacy laws. To make a request, contact me.

Children

Romana isn't aimed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you think I have, contact me and I will delete it.
